FWSL:KAWEMPE MUSLIM LADIES FC RETURNS TO THE PINNACLE AFTER A COMMANDING WIN AGAINST SHE CORPORATE FC

Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC beat She Corporate FC 2-0 to go top of the table.

The game was a bit delayed due to the heavy down pour that couldn’t allow Kickoff.

But after 30 minutes, the game started.

Forward Jovia Nakagolo opened the scoring in the 9th minute and substitute Kevin Nanyunja sealing the win with a calm finish later in the second half.

Jesca Namanda had the game’s first shot, but it hit the upright.

Nakagolo’s strike broke the deadlock, and She Corporate ‘s Sumayah Komuntale had a chance to equalize, but her free kick went over.

She Corporate FC created chances but couldn’t beat Kawempe Muslim LFC goalkeeper Shadiah Namwanje.

In the second half, goalkeeper Namwanje made a big save to deny Rebecca Nakato.

Latifa Nakasi missed a great chance to double Kawempe’s lead as her shot went inches wide.

She Corporate goalkeeper Molly Naava was shown a red card after handling the ball outside her box area.

Kawempe’s substitute Kevin Nanyunja scored the second goal for her side from a well weighed cross from Jovia Nakagolo.

A win pushed the Valley warriors back to the league summit.
