Vipers SC sign Congolese Forward Bayeku from AS Vita.

Vipers SC have announced the arrival of the 23 year old Congolese forward Glodi Beyuku Munsi from AS Vita Club in Democratic Republic of Congo.

The young forward joins Vipers SC on a two-year contract after his deal with Vita was set to run until June 30th according to Viperssc.co.ug.

Vipers’ first signing in the ongoing mid-season transfer window, Bayeku scored 10 goals for the Congolese giants last season and the Venoms will look on to his prolifiency in the final third towards their domestic and continental ambitions.

Bayeku endowed with pace, movement and a clinical last touch, joins the Venoms havibg scored two goals in two competitive appearances for the former club.

He brings health competition for the starting place upfront with other established members od the squad available; Yunus Sentamu, Gusto Mulongo, Mark Yallah, Kenneth Kimera, Isaac Ogwang, and Milton Karisa.

Bayeku played for OC Renaissance and AS Dauphins Noir before signing for AS Vita.

The Venoms believe bringing in a player of Bayeku’s profile mid-season signals their ambition to stay competitive at the highest level. With his recent scoring form and growing reputation in Central African football, expectations will be high for him to make an immediate impact in the Uganda Premier League.

As the Venoms sharpen their edge for the business end of the campaign, all eyes will be on their new Congolese marksman to see if he can translate his Vita form onto Ugandan soil.

He will wear the number 23 shirt that was earlier occupied by the departed Moses Waisswa and he will join the other members of the squad in this evening’s training session according to the club website.(Viperssc.co.ug)
