WDFA: Garuga Stars FC Change Home Ground Ahead of Season Kickoff

The 4th Division side Garuga Stars FC have confirmed Nkumba Kataka Playground as their new home ground ahead of the new season.

Previously, Garuga Stars hosted their matches at Cherish Grounds in Garuga, a venue they called home for the past three years. The 2023 Wakiso District 4th Division champions have now bid farewell to their famous fortress as they prepare for a fresh start.

“Our main target this season is to earn promotion to the Buganda Regional League and improve the quality of our football,” said Head Coach Tonny Arinaitwe.

Coach Tonny also urged fans to continue supporting the team despite the change of venue.

Garuga Stars will open their campaign this Saturday with an away fixture against Hope Foundation FC in Mityana.
