Uganda’s representatives, Nam Blazers, have booked their place in the Elite 16 round of the Basketball Africa League (BAL) after a commanding 132–58 victory over Djabal Basketball Team in a one-sided encounter on Sunday night.
The Blazers displayed teamwork, and precision around both courts in what was arguably their most dominant performance of the qualifiers. From start to finish, the Ugandan side was relentless on both ends of the court, outscoring, out-rebounding, and out-hustling their opponents in every quarter.
Captain Jimmy Enabu led by example, recording 13 points, 4 rebounds, and 11 assists, dictating the tempo with his trademark playmaking brilliance. Stephen Ochera added 13 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 steals, showing great energy on defense and efficiency in transition.
Rising forward Mugisha chipped in with 11 points, 3 rebounds, while Jaycson and Obasa contributed 10 points apiece, each playing key roles in keeping the momentum high throughout the game.
