
FUFA Drum: Bunyoro Coach Henry Gama Names Squad To Face Busoga Province.
Bunyoro Province head coach Henry Gama has named a strong 24 man squad ahead of the FUFA Drum game against Busoga on 7th September at the Royals Park Butema
Gama has blended experienced guns with young stars as well as StarTimes Uganda Premier league stars along with a few lower level league players.

Four Goalkeeper; two from SUPL and two playing in the FUFA big league – second tier and 8 defenders all with Premier league experience.
His squad is also comprised of 5 Midfielders and 7 attackers with only Papa William of Buhuka United the only player that hasnot played in the SUPL before.

Gama after knocking out Rwenzori (4-2) on aggregate in the FUFA drum preminary round, the gaffer is eyeing first ever qualification from the group.
“We started the journey with guiding the team from qualifiers, I am glad from r the trust that have been found the only candidate for the Job of continuing with the province that has never qualified from the group stages since it’s inception. My target is to qualify the team from the group stages for the first time and that’s my target and what I can promise the fans.
BUL experienced forward Karim Ndugwa, URA’s Kabon Living, Kitara’s Zaga, SC Villa’s Amiisi Diego and Police FC exciting winger Kalanzi Dennis are some of the big name players considered for the Busoga big task.
Bunyoro will play Busoga in their first group game at home and Kigezi in the group games. In the first group game, Busoga United beat Kigezi 2-0.
Gama currently a CAF C licence holder, joining the CAF B class this year, has produced numerous players in the top tier through his youth ranks that include through his ; Frank Zaga, Crispus Kusiima, Adriko John, Dudu Ramathan, Adibo Samuel, Arinda Julius and others.
Before Gama appointment, the province earlier had Coach Tony Kintu formerly of Kitara FC in 2018, then Mark Twinamasiko who was at the helm for two seasons 2020-2023 and Fred Alinaitwe who both served the province twice.
Gama earlier responsibility at Bunyoro province;
Gama earlier was Head of Technical when Mark Twinamasiko was head coach and Fred Arinaitwe was his assistant.
Gama replaced Arinaitwe now head coach of Lady Doves who was in charge for the past two seasons.
Mr Deo Kasozi formely Kitara FC president is the Province Chairperson and he is deputised by Buhimba United president Engineer Ahura Julius.
Mr Kabwimukya George a FUFA delegate, is the secretary and Denis Musinguzi Denis the President of Emeritus Kitara FC) serves as the treasurer this season.
For starters, Buganda win the inugural edition in 2018, then Acholi Province won it in 2019, West Nile took it in 2022 and Allan Okello’s Lango in 2023
