“I’m Here to Win Trophies” – Ivan Ahimbisibwe Declares After Joining KCCA FC
Ivan Ahimbisibwe has officially been unveiled as a new signing for KCCA FC, putting pen to paper on a two-year contract with the 13-time Uganda Premier League champions.
Ahimbisibwe, one of last season’s most prolific forwards, finished as the second-highest goal scorer in the Uganda Premier League with 16 goals, just three shy of the Golden Boot winner.
“I’m excited to join the biggest club in the country. I’m here to score goals and win trophies for KCCA FC,”
declared Ahimbisibwe during his unveiling.

The clinical forward was reportedly a transfer target for Jasmus FC (South Sudan) and NEC FC, but ultimately chose to join the Lugogo-based giants.
Ahimbisibwe brings with him vast experience, having previously played for Synergy FC, Nyamityobora FC, UPDF FC, and most recently URA FC. His move to KCCA FC also sees him reunite with head coach Brian Ssenyondo, who previously coached him at Synergy FC in Masaka.

Currently, Ivan is part of the Uganda Cranes CHAN provisional squad, training ahead of next month’s tournament.
Meanwhile, KCCA FC has also bolstered its defense with the signing of right-back Lazaro Bwabale from Kitara FC, as the club continues to strengthen its squad ahead of the new season.
