UFL:VENUE CHANGE FOR NDEJJE UNIVERSITY AGAINST ST LAWRENCE QUARTERFINAL RETURN LEG TIE

Ndejje University has announced a change of venue for tomorrow’s University Football League quarterfinal return leg against St Lawrence University (SLAU).

The game will now be played at Hamz Stadium Nakivubo after the original venue was changed due to security concerns following chaos in their last group game against Makerere University.

SLAU comes into this tie with a 2-1 win in the first leg.

Last season, SLAU defeated Ndejje University on aggregate at this stage, and the three-time finalists are eager to progress to the semi-finals again – and potentially win the championship.

SLAU will rely on marksman Mukiibi Sharafah to find the net, while Ndejje University’s forward Olupot Joel will be a threat to the visitors’ defence.

The first leg saw Olupot cause issues, and SLAU’s defence will need to be on high alert.

The entrance fee will be 5,000 and 30,000 Uganda Shillings for Ordinary and VIP, respectively.

Can Ndejje University turn the tie around at Nakivubo?
