FWSL:SHE CORPERATE FC “COMEBACK SHARKS” GRAB VICTORY FROM JAWS OF DEFEAT

The hosts Rines SS WFC’s early 2-0 lead was overturned by She Corporate FC, who mounted a stunning comeback to win 2-3.

Sofia Nakiyingi and Patricia Nakato gave Rines SS the lead.

But She Corporate fought back with Jesca Namanda pulling one back, followed by an equalizer just before halftime.

In the second half, She Corporate gained momentum.

Phiona Arach and Nakato had chances to score for Rines, but She Corporate goalkeeper Gift Nasasira was solid in goal.

Rebecca Nakato scored the winner for She Corporate as Rines’ defence faltered.

Arach’s got a great chance to level the game, but her shot went straight to the hands of goalkeeper Nasasira.

She Corporate leapfrogs into second place with 42 points, while Rines SS WFC remains 9th with 18 points.
