UFL:KAMPALA UNIVERSITY “FLYING EAGLES” EYE QUARTERFINAL FIRST LEG WIN IN BUGEMA

Kampala University (KU) takes on Bugema University in the first leg of the University Football League quarterfinals tomorrow at Bugema.

KU topped Group A with 13 points, while Bugema finished as best losers in Group B with 11 points.

Both teams are still unbeaten this season.

For starters, Kampala University, a two-time champion, was knocked out in the quarterfinals last season by IUIU.

While Bugema University made it to the semis, losing to eventual champions Uganda Martyrs University Nkozi (UMU).

KU’s last season’s top scorer Gilbert Wannume leads the charge, while Bugema’s Joseph Male will be a key player for the home side.

The teams are led by coaches Vincent Tumusiime “Titi Camala” (KU) and Meddie Nyanzi (Bugema).
