BPL:GARUGA STARS FC BOASTS SQUAD AHEAD OF SECOND ROUND
Garuga Stars FC has unveiled four new players ahead of their league second-round kickoff this week on Saturday 14th March, 2026 against Hope Foundation FC.
The Buganda province 4th Division League side has signed experienced goalkeeper Yusuf Wasswa who has played for SC Villa, URA FC, and UPDF FC.
Other additions include skillful Peter Abalilya from Super Eagles Lugongwe in Buganda Region League , Vicent Masumbuko from Standard High Zana, and Jonathan Kayiza from Mpigi Mixed FC.
Former player Mukiibi George has also returned from a one-year injury.
“Am glad that the second round of our league is here and we feel this gives us another chance to overturn the table again,” Head Coach Tonny Arinaitwe said.
He added that the new signings will help the team achieve good results.
Garuga Stars FC has released Agamire Ivan Kanda, Gift Tusasire, and Wangi Taufic.
The team is currently 8th on the league table.
And the team earlier resumed training at their Cherish Grounds.
