UFL:KU’S FLYING EAGLES SNATCH VICTORY WITH A LATE STRIKE
Kampala University’s Flying Eagles staged a 2-1 comeback win over Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST).
MUST took an early lead in the 18th minute through Ainamani’s tap-in from Isaih Bigirwa’s cross.
Kampala University had chances to equalize before halftime, but MUST’s goalkeeper Tukwatanise made crucial saves to keep his side ahead.
In the second half, KU made a strong comeback, equalizing through Nsubuga Gideon’s corner kick.
Nsubuga Gideon again with an attempt, but he shot wide over.

Gilbert Wannume shot on goal, but MUST Atuhairwe cleared his efforts off the line.
The winning goal for KU came in the 88th minute, courtesy of Kimera Joseph’s superb strike, assisted by Gilbert Wannume.
Kampala University moves to 10 points, while MUST remains third with 4 points in Group A.
