IVAN KANDA SAYS GOODBYE

Ivan “Kanda” Agamire has bid farewell to Garuga Stars FC, his amateur club, in this transfer window.

Agamire has joined Black Star FC after a short stint with Garuga Stars FC, who are currently 8th on the Buganda province 4th Division league table.

The deal is now finalized, with Agamire signing a six-month contract with the Kampala Regional side.

Black Star FC, currently 4th on the table with 21 points, is eyeing promotion to the Big League next season and has been active in the transfer market.

Agamire expressed gratitude to Garuga Stars FC, thanking the management and teammates for their support.

“I truly appreciate the trust you placed in me and the support you showed, especially during my difficult moments,” he said.

Agamire wishes Garuga Stars FC success in the future.

The move comes after Garuga Stars FC’s exit from the Stanbic Uganda Cup, losing to Big League side Kataka FC.

Black Star FC, meanwhile, looks to bolster their squad for the second round, currently one point behind table leaders Mutungo FC.
