UPL: Entebbe UPPC FC Target Season Double Over Express in Valentine’s Day Double-Header
Entebbe UPPC FC will travel to Kampala on saturday, February 14, 2026, to face Express FC at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo, in a Uganda Premier League double-header.
The clash between Express FC and UPPC FC will kick off at 5:00pm, before URA FC host SC Villa (Jogoos) in the second fixture at 8:00pm at the same venue.
Coached by Abdallah Mubiru, UPPC FC head into the encounter with ambitions of completing a season double over the Red Eagles. The Printers secured a convincing 2-0 victory over Express in the first-round meeting played in Bugonga, courtesy of goals from midfielder Nordin Bunjo and league top scorer Ambrose Kigozi.

Heading into the fixture, UPPC FC sit fourth on the league table, while Express FC occupy 10th position. The Red Eagles have endured a challenging transfer window, losing several key players, including their former league top scorer Senoga Kagawa, as well as Richard Basangwa and Rashid Kawawa.
However, Express have bolstered their squad with experienced additions. Midfielder Marvin Nyanzi joined as a free agent following the expiry of his contract at Kitara FC, while seasoned campaigner Moses Sseruyide adds valuable top-flight experience, having featured in the Uganda Premier League for over five years.
Despite Express’ reinforcements, UPPC FC will look to capitalize on the hosts’ transitional phase. Ambrose Kigozi, who leads the league scoring charts with eight goals, alongside Issa Bugembe and Hassan Ssenyonjo, will be key figures as the Printers aim to carry maximum points back to Entebbe.
On the other hand, Express will rely on new signing Marvin Nyanzi and John Assimwe to inspire a turnaround and steer the Red Eagles back to winning ways.
With both sides eager for crucial points, the Valentine’s Day showdown promises to be a thrilling encounter. Will the Printers soar higher on the table, or will the Red Eagles defend their home turf? All will be decided under the lights at Nakivubo.
