Former KCCA FC Captain Julius Poloto Speaks about facing Former side with UPPC.
Former KCCA FC Captain Julius Poloto expressed his side’s readiness to face former club KCCA FC in the StarTimes Uganda premier league last first round game on Friday at MTN Omondi stadium in Lugogo.
In a game anticipated to be a classical showdown, the evening will see two teams that love posessing the ball face off, the hosts second placed with 30 points welcoming 5th placed debutants that perform well on their travels.
We have prepared well for the game, we know the team we are playing so we are ready for them, we picked alot of positives from the draw against Maroons, about the chances we missed last time, we have made corrections on and off the pitch and some times games are different we just need to be more lethal in front of goal sp that we get positive results against KCCA FC. Poloto stated.
We know they have the age of being at home, and this obvious with each team, they know their pitch better but some of us have played there and many experienced lads in our squad that have also faced them there before. It will be a normal game, am sure every one is excited to play such a game but there is nothing much like motivation to play KCCA. We are not scared of the environment we shall face we have been in very big games before. Everyone is positive in camp we ready for the challenge for everyone of us to go put up a good show and get results and for our fans. He added.
Poloto a product of the KCCA FC youth system, was promoted to the senior team that he captained for a number of seasons before he was let out to join UPPC disturbed by injuries for most of his time at Lugogo.
Poloto is just among the many players that return to Lugogo with UPPC FC but are former KCCA players, Steven Munguchi, Issa Mubiru and Mustafa Mujjuzi with head coach Abadallah Mubiru among them.
