I would love to first of all appreciate the players, management, and technical staff for the victory, and we thank God for today, the players have fought so hard towards our target this season, which won’t be easy, that is not to be relegated this season, may be, if you don’t understand the game well, it’s easy to set unachievable targets but we are looking at setting up a strong foundation that we can get players that can take us forward , but as of now we are thinking of building a strong squad that can help us survive relegation as we focus on our future targets. Mbabazi told Sports256 media.
Asked about how they picked up themselves from the first league loss to Buhimba United Saints, he had this to say;
May be if someone has little knowledge about the game, but we had belief that we would bounce back because first games are not always easy, players ate trying bto know each other well, creating the bond and it was a big league derby and it’s not easy to know who is stronger, but after the loss we learnt alot, that’s we built on to get a win in the next game, we believe these two years are for building a strong team to compete and in Five years time we can think of big achievements. Mbabazi added.
Poloto before being substituted, got a close tap-in, but was denied and also got another opportunity but his head effort went over the bar.

Substitute Kyeyune, Isa Bugembe are other UPPC players that got opportunities to find the back of the net but their efforts hit a dead end.
