Maroons Join Race to Sign Former Entebbe UPPC FC Defender Nsubuga.
Maroons Football have also expressed interest in signing defender Fahad Nsubuga Faisal from Startimes Uganda Premier League new comers GADAFFI- UPPC FC who is currently a free agent after his contract expired at the end of the season.
Earlier, other SUPL new boys Calvary Football Club have been in close-contact to secure the services of the 26 year old experienced center back to bolster their backline.

Nsubuga, knick-maned lefter by close pals, is a natural left-footed center-back, who also plays as a left back endowed with strength, solid at the back with superb game reading abilities.

Nsubuga joined now Entebbe UPPC FC from FUFA big league side Kiyinda boys and penned a one year contract that expired after guiding the team to the SUPL last season.
When contacted for a comment of where he will end up this season, a soft spoken dread-locked football star, pointed at weighing on the offers available in relation with balancing with books.
You know am studying at International University of East Africa-Kansanga doing a master’s degree in procurement and logistics management, so i find it some times hard to attend classes after training, or to first attend classes then go for training, but i feel both are important studying and playing football…about where am going to play this season..aaah…! Tricky, some clubs have expressed interest I won’t personally talk about now, here in Uganda and outside, but it them takes me back to the education part, if it’s a team outside the country, them it means stopping studying..! then still, a team here, one which is around Kampala could be suitable for me to balance books and playing, so am still weighing on to see what’s better for me” Nsubuga told Sports256.
The experienced journey-man, before signing for UPPC FC from kiyinda Gaddafi, had previously played for Hope Doves FC, Wakiso United FC, Ntinda Utd, Entebbe FC in Uganda, then Falcon FC and UKM FC outside the country.

Nsubuga a product of African Tiger Academy located in Makindye, went to Kibuli Demostration Primary School, Gombe SS, Namagabi SS and Lubiri SS where he represented his school at the Nationals/Copa Coca cola held in Kabale that year during his childhood football career development.
