Lugazi FC Capture Another Kibuli SS Product.

StarTimes Uganda Premier League entinty Lugazi FC have announced the arrival of another forward Adam Mutesasira joining fellow Kibuli SS former teammate Edwin Owachigui who was announced days ago.

Mutesasira, an exciting winger endowed with pace and trickery, signs for Lugazi FC from Rwanda premier league side Muhazi United where he has spent the last two seasons.

Mutesasira brings competition to the flanks as well as valuable experience in topflight football having featured for Police FC in the FUFA Big League and Uganda Premier League, and Muhazi United.

Mutesasira expressed his joy returning to the SUPL.

I feel so good to be joining Lugazi FC, I am ready to perform at a high level to help the team achieve its goals,” he told Lugazifc.com

Mutesasira played for Police FC between 2020 and 2023 before crossing to Rwanda where he has been displaying his enviable great football talent for the past two seasons with Muhazi United.

Mutesaasira impressed for the Rwamagana City based side during the 2024/25 campaign with twelve goal contributions (seven assists and five goals) across the 15 games he played in the second round of the Rwanda Premier League.

He was also among the top and trusted effective guns for Kibuli Secondary School during their impressive run to the 2022 FEASSSA Games football crown in Arusha, Tanzania.

Comfortable playing on either flank, Mutesaasira adds quality and health competition to the Lugazi FC squad.

Lugazi a side that finished 13th of the 16 teams, have already captured another exciting winger Owachigui from Ssingo Ssaza, Left back Dauson Mafumu from Express FC, attacking Midfielder Solomon Okwalinga, striker Paul Busolo and 21 year old defender Yusuf Mafabi from Mbarara City.
