The Lamennnais Tournament—an annual sports competition for schools under the Brothers of Christian Instruction Kisubi—concluded today after two days of intense action and youthful brilliance.
At the heart of this year’s tournament was Uganda Martyrs Primary School Lubaga, which emerged as the standout performer, clinching titles across multiple categories, including both Under 14 and Under 12 football championships.
Young sensation Mambo Sabir stole the show with electrifying performances that earned him the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award in the Under 12 football category. He also claimed the Top Scorer title with an impressive tally of eight goals, becoming a fan favorite for his flair and composure on the pitch.
