Team muliro host struggling kikompola as good friends super four league nears climax
The thrilling Good Friends Super Four League, a corporate football competition hosted at SPN Turf Namulanda, is fast approaching its grand finale.
Running every Friday since late April, the league enters its final round this week—with just three crucial games remaining to determine the finalists. All eyes will be on the action-packed fixtures scheduled for Friday, June 13.
One of the standout clashes will see Team Muliro take on a struggling Team Kikompola, in a must-win game for Muliro as they look to secure a spot in the final.
For context, the league format dictates that the top two teams at the end of the round-robin stage will face off in the final to decide the champion.
Speaking ahead of the clash, Master Baker, a key player for Team Muliro, expressed his team’s burning desire to clinch the title.
“We’re going for the championship. We don’t want to repeat the mistakes of last season when we lost in the finals,” Baker said.
Team Muliro enters the fixture as favorites against bottom-placed Kikompola, who have managed just four points from six games.
Key players to watch for Muliro include Mugwanya Moses, Kushy, Baker, and Oswaldo. But the question remains—can Kikompola’s defense, led by Sula and Nsigo, withstand the Muliro onslaught?

Elsewhere on Friday:
Defending champions and league leaders, Team Masanyalaze, will face Team Bbomu, who are still in contention for a place in the final.
Masanyalaze currently sit atop the standings with 14 points, while Bbomu lie third with 6 points—just one point behind second-placed Muliro.
This fixture is also expected to be a spectacle, with league top scorer Cambiasso Ken and Sirajje Kisekka expected to lead the line for Masanyalaze. Their impact could prove decisive in stretching the table lead or handing Bbomu a fighting chance at the title.
“Can Bbomu pull off a surprise and halt the dominant Masanyalaze?” That’s the big question heading into this Friday night thriller at SPN Turf Namulanda.
