URA FC New signing Ahimbisibwe can’t wait to get started.

Leathal striker Ivan Ahimbisibwe expressed his joy for the opportunity to sign for the tax collectors during his unveiling.

Ahimbisibwe, who has signed a two year contract that will keep him with the tax men untill 2025 stated.

“Am excited and delighted to have joined URA FC….it’s a top club in Ugandan football. It has been a long awaited opportunity” he stressed.

Knick-named the ‘Hunter’ by his close pals, has featured for UPDF FC for the last two season in the top tier league.

Ahimbisibwe has managed 22 goals in total for the time he has spent at UPDF FC.

He has managed 10 goals in each of the two seasons and as well, two goals in Stanbic Uganda Cup last season.

He started his carrer at Mbarara Soccer Academy and has played for Synergy Fc Masaka, Nyamityobora FC and recently UPDF FC.

For starters, Ahimbisibwe is the all time top scorer of Nyamityobora FC.

He is expected to make his debut on Friday as URA take on KCCA Fc in the Semi finals of the FUFA Super 8.

In this transfer window, the tax men have also acquired, workholic midfielder Norman Namanya Nani from Entebbe Pride, Rogers Omedwa, Denis Otim, Laban Tibita, Moses Aliro, Sharif Kimbowa, Ibrahim Wamannah.
