Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin Sredojevic has handed enterprising young stars Reagan Kalyoowa and Jacob Kamwesiga their senior national team maiden calls for the Regional tour.
The 24 man summoned squad, will travel to Luweero for a Regional tour at Kasana Ground on Saturday 19th August 2023.
FUFA juniors league graduate Kalyowa who has been impressive for the Eastern giants since last season and the main man for BUL in the ongoing FUFA super 8 tournament has been notified and given chance.
Arua Hill SC teenager Kamwesiga who had a break through season last year, is another talented young star, with magical feet, comfortable in possession that has been given chance alongside team-mate Kawawa Rashid.
Hippos graduates; Kawooya Andrew, Umaru Lutalo, defender Kasozi Samson and Rogers Mugisha are others considered with hope that they can make a mark with the senior team as well.
Kitara FC in-form Striker Omedi, Okumu Rogers, Brian Mato, Bayiga Patrick. Hamza Mulambuzi, Otti Ronald and Ojok Darius are among the new faces considered by Micho for this task.
Goal keepers; Charles Lukwago, Mutakubwa, Kenneth Semakula are some of the senior members named in this squad that will also be part of the AFCON Qualifiers team to face Niger that was earlier summoned.
According to Fufa.co.ug, the team will enter camp on Friday 18th August 2023 at Cranes Paradise Hotel, Kisasi.
