Veteran and now a football administrator Akabwai Geoffrey formerly of KIU, face tough competition from Nkumba University and now BUL FC player Muganga and SC Villa captain Gift Fred for the best defender of the decade accolade.
In the midfielders category, Lukwago Nasser of Uganda Martyrs who was mostly used as a center back, has no chance pitted with some of UFL’s greatest players and Cranes duo of Mugerwa and KU’s Mutyaba.
New kid (coach) on the block Davis Nono of SLAU who has never won the competition but guided the team to a couple of finals, has been selected along two time winners Tumusiime Vincent (KU) and Ayiekoh Charles (MUBS).
Ssebuliba Patrick previously of Nkumba now at VU, will battle for the Sports tutor of the decade with Ssekandi Joseph (Uganda Martyrs) and MUBS’s Kimbugwe Hilary.
