Wakiso Giants Sign Goalkeeper Sekagya
Wakiso Giants Football have signed goalkeeper Bashir Ssekagya on a two year deal from Kenya premier league Wazito.
The two year contract will see the young keeper at the Purple Sharks until 2024 with an option for a further year.
Sekagya joins as a free agent after his contract expired at Wazito where he established himself as the undisputed number one.
The young star, had previously played for Vipers SC where he spent most of the time on the bench.
Sekagya was happy joining a club he feels will help him develop more.
“It’s an exciting opportunity for me to continue my growth as a goalkeeper with such an ambitious club and will do all in my abilities to help the club achieve their ambitions.”
The club new hear Coach John ‘Ayala’ Luyinda welcomed the young goalkeeper to team.
” His talent and potential is undoubted and we are glad he has chosen us. He comes with a bit more experience and we believe he will be of value to the squad.”
Sekagya becomes Ayala’s first ever signing at Wakiso Giants amd the first for the clubin the transfer window.
