Missaga Sends X-Mas Message to Villa Fans, Set to Meet Them Early Next Year.

Engineer Emmanuel Ben Missaga has used social media to send Christmas message to the Jogoos and as well, call upon Villa Members Trust (VMTs) for a planning meeting early next year.

It’s assumed that, the major item on the agenda of why the Jogoos vice president in charge of mobilisation and fans has called up this meeting, is the club fans’ detoliating discpline.

According to Missaga’s release, the meeting with club fans, will be held on 2nd January 2022, 10am at Villa Park in Nsambya, Kampala.

For starters, club President Omar Mandela confirmed a four-man Vice President team that included; Ben Misagga, Daniel Bakaki, Muhamadi Bazirengedde and Salim Ssemanda.

Misagga, asked the fans to turn up in big numbers for the meeting, share ideas to make Villa great again.

“Dear VMTs, I trust you are doing well. The festive season is a time to jump of the year stress and enter a new lease of life. 2022 is our year as Villa. Let’s join hundreds of hands to build our mighty beautiful Club Villa.” He stated.

“We Shall hold VMTs and General fans meeting at Villa Park on 02 January 2022 at 1000 hours. We must ensure and endeavor to attend. Come with ideas and suggestions on how to make your dream club productive and enjoyable to prosper.”

The announcement of the meeting organised by Misagga on 2nd, is made, a day after Villa was docked a point by the Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) Competitions Disciplinary Panel.

The Panel took the decision after Villa fans were found guilty of violence basing on the match report during their match against KCCA FC on 18th December.

It is understood that they (fans) threw broken beer bottles towards the KCCA FC technical bench in their 1-1 draw at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru, last week.

A month ago, the pannel had cautioned Villa fans about violence, so it wasnot by surpprise that the deduction of point happens now.

The FUFA displinary commite after deduction the point, it also directed the club mannagement to have fans, fan’s leaders, club safety and security officers plus all club officials go through safety and security training by CAF safety and security officers within 14 days.

The struggling Uganda premier league record champions, are 11th placed on thd log with 12 points from 11 games just above Ondu, Bright stars, Police, Busoga and Tororo United.

The sixteen (16) time (s) champions will lock horns with Tooro United in the next fixture at home on Monday, December 27.
