Della Torre Soccer Academy organised Late Courtney Jarrett memorial tournament will be played by three Under age categories at Kasaala play ground in Luwero mid next month.
Late Courtney Jarrett Memorial Tournament (U-10, U-12 & U-15):

Development has been reached by Della Torre Soccer Academy management and confirmation has been made that teens between these ages; U-10, U-12 and U-15 will compete in the second (2nd) edition of the Late Courtney Jarrett tournament.
The tournament will played for one day that is on 23rd next month on a galla basis at St Andrew’s playground, Kasaala in Luweero.
Each team is required to pay UGX 50.000 as registration fees to confirm their participation for each age category and registration is already on going according to the academy management.
Each team that will take part in the tournament will be provided with free Lunch.
Della Torre Soccer Academy chief executive officer Mr Siraje Kabuye confirmed the preparations are in high gear and as the hosts are more than ready to recieve the different teams in a tournament that is held in memory of the late Courtney Jarrett a father to the academy head Della Torre.
Preparations are moving on smoothly and we just call upon all academies in the Country U-10, U-12 & U-15 to register in time to further prepare for them as early as possible. We shall be playing this tournament every year to remember Courtney and as well as, developing the young talents by exposing them more. Mr Kabuye told Sports256.
Della Torre Soccer Academy coach Ivan Mawanda believes this is a good ground to scout new talents and as well try Inject in them the philosophy of how the modern game has to be played.
We are very prepared as hosts in different age categories; U-10, U-12 & U-15 and we promise Della Torre fans & everyone who loves kids football and our aim is to win all the trophies.
As we memorise the late father to Della, this tournament is aiming at helping young talents develop further and try to put our philosophy in this kids and we hope to get some new talents to join our academy.Mawanda stated.
The first and last edition had ten (10) teams for U12 and U-15.
In U-12, the tournament had two groups each with 4 teams and U-15, they had two groups and the top two teams in each group qualified for the semi-finals.
African Child are U-12 defending Champions after defeating Hard Rock in the last edition.
Della Torre are U-15 defending Champions after defeating Yuwako in penalties in the last edition.
The winners and runners up recieved their trophies medals and other prizes.
Prizes to be won;
The Champion will get a winners Trophy, Gold medals and balls.
The first runners up will get Silver medals and balls.
