Wednesday 30th March 2022 will always be a memorable day for both schools; Kawempe Muslim Secondary School and Uganda Martyrs High School Lubaga in the game of football with both their teams boys and girls reaching the district finals.
The day was more sweater for Kawempe SS that won the first (for the girls) of the two titles/ finals.

The first final between the two schools was a girl’s final played on Wednesday which Kawempe Muslim girls won 1-0 and the second is set to be played on Saturday at Kibuli SS.
Hadija Nandago won it for Kawempe Muslim girls with an early 6th minute strike.
Uganda Martyrs Lubaga will come to revenge on Saturday in the boys’ final against Kawempe on Saturday.
Kawempe Muslim SS that qualified from the group on the mercy of Uganda Martyrs that helped them defeat Kakungulu memorial, turn the guns against them in the Kampala final after a dramatic semifinal clash in which they eliminated favorites Kibuli 3-1.
Kawempe eliminated Kibuli 3-1 and Uganda Martyrs knocked out Travis Mutyaba’s Gombe High School 1-0 to book their final date.

Ronald Obedgiu bagged a brace and Kidega Okum Godfrey found the other for Kawempe. KCCA FC ‘s Dominic Oyela scored the only one despite missing the penalty for Kibuli that would have given them a life-line earlier in the game.
All the four schools that reached the semi-finals and one other 5th team (best looser) will a make a total of five that will represent Kampala District at the National post primaries that set to be played in mid April in Arua district.
