While Speaking to the media at FUFA house in Mengo on Thursday morning, Khalifa expressed the team’s readiness for the task and showed worry for the inexperience in his squad.

We have done our best to prepare the girls well in all aspects, though the team is comprised of many young players that are not exposed. The positive is that we also have some experienced ones that have been with the U-20 from whom we shall build the team to get positive results. Khalifa stated.

The gaffer also pointed at proper home work as a key factor for the positive results tomorrow.

We have done enough homework against the opponents, building from the previous encounters both at the U17 and U20 level.

We have played against Ethiopia in the U20 and it is a good team but we have done our homework and certain that we shall register positive results at home before we go for the return leg. He added.

Team Captain Shakira Nyinagahirwa one of the experienced players in this squad who has previously featured for the U-20, feels they have prepared well and expressed their desire and willingness to knockout Ethiopia.
