Tooro Captain Apollo Kagogwe believes their survival chances declined after loosing points to Vipers in the board room.
Tooro United Football club lost three points by board room decision after using an ineligible player Ronald Kayondo who had accumulated yellow cards that had to keep him out of the accumulation and had to keep him out of log leaders Vipers encounter.
It was a rare win for Tooro and was their third of their disappointing season, and against Stanbic Uganda Cup reighnig champions, which had boasted them and had kept their hopes of surviving the axe higher but unfortunately all the three were docked.

However, at the edge of dropping to the second tier of Ugandan football – the FUFA big league, teenager and club Captain Apollo Kagogwe thinks they have little chances of survival but they have more to fight for in the remaining games as players.
It’s true we lost the Vipers’ points a game we had won, but this is not good for our survival fight which we think is still alive though with little chances.
As players, we have to keep doing our job wholeheartedly and professionally, give our best for this special club, we don’t need to put our heads down because we lost the board room decision points. Every player here knows our second round target was to collect points and keep this great club in the top tier. But also every one here knows that even if this club doesn’t survive the axe, but we have to do our best as individuals to get other clubs in the top tier next season.
The highly rated teenager recieved his licence late and missed some of the first league games but has managed twelve league games so far and two Uganda Cup games.
Kagogwe was named club captain at half season replacing Dennis Ojara who left for greener pastures at Onduparaka.
The big prospect is highly rated for his leadership skills on the pitch, versatility (can play the whole backline and in the defensive midfield), calmness in possession, comfortable on the ball, good game reading, good at interceptions and good in the air as well.
The teenager is targeting playing for some of the big clubs in the country and European football in the future.
As players we are giving in our best for last 9 games for this great club and as an individual I must be realistic that my target is to play for the big clubs in the country before thinking of making a professional move to Europe which is my dream. Kagogwe told Sports256
It has as well been my target to earn a Cranes call in my first season in the top league but I think with more hard work I can still achieve this. He added.

Kagogwe pointed at Vipers hitman from Congo Cesar Manzoki as his toughest opponent and in second place highlighted Aria Hill SC’s Alfred Leku.

Tooro United lost their last league game 2-0 away to BUL FC and will play Arua Hill foota. Club at home in their next fixture.
Tooro bottom placed has nine points from 21 outings do far and have nine game left to the end of the season.
The three board room points means log leaders Vipers(49), stretched the summit lead to seven points drift of KCCA FC.
Kagogwe deputised by goalkeeper Kenneth Given Lukyamuzi, first captianed Tooro for their away Stanbic Uganda Cup win against Five Stars FC.
