Futsal Super League: Aidenal Defeat Talent Bridge & Kabowa To Keep Title Dream Alive

Aidenal Futsal Club cemented their summit spot when they bagged two vital wins against Kabowa Dream and Talent Bridge over the weekend in the Uganda Futsal Super league to keep their maiden league title hopes alive.

 

The Entebbe based School of Soccer Art, edged Kabowa Dream 5-4 in the morning fixture and thumped Talent Bridge 7-4 late on the day in the round 6 game.

 

Aidenal FC first Five on Saturday.

 

New boy John Ben Nakibinge shinned brightest on the day scoring Five goals in their two games.

 

Another Masaza Cup product Nakibinge, bagged a brace against Kabowa and a hat-trick against Talent Bridge.

 

Another new signing from Big Talent Faizal Wabyona and their former captain, netted twice against Talent Bridge and scored one against Kabowa.

 

Captain Kavuma Marvin, scored a brace against Talent Bridge and Mutyaba Sula completed the scoring on the day.

 

The White Brigades still unbeaten with five wins from the six outings, are in top of the log with 16 points, two ahead of title rivals Park.

 

Aidenal has a big test in the round 7 Fixtures, when they welcome another title contender KJT at 11am on 4th June 2022.

 

Aidenal will start the second round games the same weekend, and will take on ASCA they defeated 7-1 in the first leg clash.

 

Aidenal dreaming and targeting their maiden title as their Managing director Victor Aiden Ssebudde earlier told this site, are participating in their forth league season.

 

” Because our target is to win the title, we have tried to make up the Futsal galacticos, we have brought in sensations, added super stars to the squad and that’s why we have become a fear factor. In addition to our good players, everyone is well motivated and we good to go.” Ssebudde told Sports256 days ago.

 

Aidenal is leading the log with 16 points, Park, KJT, Kisenyi, ASCA, Luzora Thunders, Kabowa Dream and Talent Bridge are 2nd 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th with 14, 11, 10, 7, 4, 3 & 3 points respectively.
